Donna Wrobel is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a rich and diverse nursing background. Her journey into nursing began as a single mother of four, relocating to Florida from New England to build a better future for her family. She pursued her nursing education at Keiser University and the University of New Hampshire, earning her ADN and AS degrees before advancing her studies. Donna later completed her BSN at Southern New Hampshire University and her MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Across the Lifespan at Wilkes University, where she gained the expertise to provide comprehensive mental health care.

Her early career was marked by specialization in critical care, focusing on hepatology patients with advanced liver disease. When her 15-year-old child was diagnosed with cancer, Donna transitioned to oncology nursing, working alongside an exceptional team on an inpatient hematology/oncology unit. To balance her role as a working mother, she progressed into leadership positions, serving as Assistant Nurse Manager and later Nursing Supervisor for a 422-bed hospital in Orlando.

Although Donna excelled in hospital leadership, her passion for direct patient care drew her back to clinical practice. After earning her MSN and passing her board certification, she began working as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health therapists. Donna found her greatest joy in building therapeutic relationships with her patients, earning their trust and delivering personalized, compassionate care.

Motivated by a deep commitment to mental health advocacy and patient-centered care, Donna opened her private practice to provide the time and attention necessary to address each patient’s unique needs. She has also dedicated herself to teaching and supporting others, previously leading classes for parents of children with mental health disorders through the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Currently, she facilitates a weekly support group for survivors of trauma and domestic violence, assisting these resilient individuals as they rebuild their lives and navigate their new normal.
